About Dominic Lee 李梓敬

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Dominic developed a passion for politics early on when he was in high school.
He was active member of the debate team, model united nation, and volunteered as an urgent action writer for Amnesty International.

During his college years in ths US, Dominic campaigned for the US Presidential Nominee John Kerry, Hong Kong Legislative Council member James Tien, and interned at some of the most prestigious organizations in the world including Merrill Lynch’s private wealth management group, as well as for US Congressman Al Green.

Dominic graduated from Rice University at Houston, Texas in 2006 with a B.A. in Economics. He joined the pro-business conservative Liberal Party in 2009 after he returned to Hong Kong and became the first chairman of the party’s youth committee when it was established in 2011.

In the 2015 District Council elections, he ran for the Yau Yat Tsuen constituency where he lives and won, succeeding council chairman Jimmy Kwok Chun-wah as member of the Sham Shui Po District Council.

In 2016, he was nominated by the Liberal Party to lead a ticket in the New Territories East in the Legislative Council election, in which incumbent legislator and party honorary chairman James Tien will stand with him in second place, but they came up short despite receiving north of 20,000 votes.

Dominic is also a certified Google advertising professional, a WebCEO certified Search Marketer, and an expert author on Ezine Articles.
